[flagged] This July I Was Fired from Simple AI (A Deeply YC Company) (andys.blog)
55 points by andytratt 31 days ago | hide | past | favorite | 171 comments

Why did you include emails threatening to blackmail Simple AI to get more money ("wondering what a fair exit package looks like ... and what I should post on Linkedin to update my network"), then indicating that after you received $20K in payment, you "wouldn't bother" them? All of this following a him-or-me demand email.

And then making this post? It's a pattern of self-destructive behavior.

The best possible course of action at this point is deleting the blog post. Note that the separation agreement you signed prohibits you from sharing any Separation Information—including consideration (in this case the $20K figure you reference is part of the consideration). Your blog post is public evidence and even this comment I'm making right now could end up in discovery if your former employer wanted. If I were you, I would not antagonize them further.

also are you saying i'm antagonizing someone, if so what's your evidence? i'm flagging this comment. i think it's egregiously offensive and against HN terms of service.

excuse me you are accusing me in public of threatening and blackmailing someone? that's pretty serious. sounds a bit libelous or slanderous or something aggressive.

throwaday0451 as you characterize me as a blackmailer, are you sure you don't mean "negotiating" or "communicating"?

if so your words are injurous and damage me. do you have a lawyer i can talk to about this public defamation of my language and mischaracterizing me on Hackernews?

i'll antagonize whoever i deem to antagonize because usually when i do i ask questions and then they can respond and we call that conversation.

that's my preferred form of antagonism is written speech on the internet. please excuse me while i continue antagnozing you who has nothing to do with the employer in question at all whatsover and never will

good luck to you sir

The people from Simple AI are probably smiling while they read this thread.

OP, feel bad for obviously unpleasant situation, but I don't think the way this is written makes you come across in a good light at all. Maybe just me?

Not just you.

OP strikes me as quite childish. I’m guessing he’s quite young, nothing wrong with that.

And yeah, the circumstances aren’t great (the stressful move to SF in particular). Tough break!

thanks for taking the time to research my background everyone and sharing your impressions! love that free speech from all the esteemed writers in these comments

DOB 1/11/1996 cheers- from mequon wisconsin

You'd do well to listen to the song Vienna a few times, lol.

Intellect and prestige will only get you so far; but being an egotistical, passive-aggressive antagonist will stunt your development professionally and personally. Quoting egotistical tech titans doesn't justify it, and using cutesy internet-speak cadence doesn't mask it.

Just my $0.02.

EDIT - yep it was colbert here ya go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEXQaxUjesE

one of my favs! have only listened a few hundred times slow down ya crazy child so ambitious for a jevenuile

Cheers. Take it to heart heavier.

You're also writing erratically in the blog since I've logged back in, and it looks like you're admist a manic episode. You'll vehemently deny so - no fault of your own, that's a core tenet of a manic episode in the first place. But I have close experience with it from those close to me, and more than anything - I suggest you take care. Don't be hard on yourself during the post-reflection and introspection period, doing so is often far more debilitating than the episode itself. Be well.

i believe Billy Joel on colbert said that was his #5 on himself.

scenes from italian restaurant was #1 according to BJ

I'm not sure that's the point

I didn't want to be rude but to be more specific: It comes across as "god this guy is insufferable, I don't blame them" especially the tone with which he asked to be dismissed/leave?

I think he's just young and awkward, as we all were at some point.

amazing. PG said "write for the youth, you have to just corrupt the youth. only way to create generational institutions."

so glad the tone was conveyed through the thoughtful writing i artfully crafted. as oscar wilde says "when the critics disagree the artist is in accord with himeself"

Median age of a YC founder is 24-25. It’s kids hiring kids for startup pressure cookers where most will fail. Professionalism is nice, I highly recommend it when you’re equipped to deliver it (both emotionally and through life experience) but as a professional, I wouldn’t expect it in these contexts. More like a series of tech frat houses grinding to liquidity, acquisition, or failure (from least to most likely).

If you’re going to fail hard and learn it from it, you could do worse than these experiences. If you’re at a startup, you’re either there for the economic opportunity of being on a rocket ship (equity lottery ticket), learning how to be a founder (because you might want to found your own startup), or learning how to do what your role is because you don’t have enough experience to be hired elsewhere (imho). Getting fired is fine, as long as you grow from the experience and weren’t actively or intentionally malicious (don’t do that). Pick yourself up, do better next role and company cast. It’s just a job.

excellent analysis. except when the kids hiring someone older than them. named zach & andy. haha

I can appreciate the experience you had. With time and experience comes wisdom. Most of us are figuring all of this out along the way. Try to approach these situations with grace in the future, even when you aren’t managed as you’d expect to be. Assume positive intent until you have strong evidence you no longer shouldn’t, but also have a strong safety net and plans so you’re never tied to a job economically. This makes getting fired or having to quit a minor annoyance versus an event making you feel like you need to scorch the Earth. Wishing you a positive trajectory and that you land somewhere more compatible.

yes this is The Future of Loving Grace - andys.blog/future -

(better than dario's) cheers

love the unsolicited wealth of advice

I'm just a lowly tech worker at LCOL, but I had a feeling this is what is happening.

yes it is. everywhere everything all at once as the movie says hahaha

oh and esp for asian americans #metoo

If you're having a manic episode or other type of mental breakdown, I hope you get help. If this is just how you typically act, and no one has told you yet, your way of communicating is bizarre and deeply off-putting. You will not be able to keep a job.

great perfect. yes. it's been years. nobody hired me. so i built my company. thanks.

I see why someone hired you (prestige), I see why someone fired you (terrible communicator, egoistical, lack of professionalism/tactless).

The tactlessness is just awful. I would consider deleting that post.

Also why is he putting the company on blast but also sounding super duper grateful to them?

i am grateful. they paid me. commensurate to all of our aligned expectations. as elon recently said in the Economist interview: "i don't think i've said many inaccurate things i can predict my future quite well."

ok great. is it legally required?

Im not really sure what you are wanting to communicate here?

is it that you need a new job and this is the hook? or do you have some insight into better ways of being letgo/fired/parted ways with?

its also not clear how long you were there for? (i'm not in the business of stalking people on linkedin)

thank you for expressing your uncertainty by commenting KaiserPro

some of us CEO types gotta grind and stalk on linkedin until the people come to us haha

i mostly stalk myself on the internet. i keep re-reading everything i write.

I feel for you, getting fired is pretty terrible, and and everyone assumes you did something bad to earn it.

But you forgot to say a few things in your post:

Hey everyone, I made an expensive move and changed my life for a job, and it didn't work out. In fact, I got fired. If anyone is looking for someone with experience in X Y and Z, I'm your guy.

Reading the title, I thought the company did something horrible to you, but I must have missed it from the text.

(The biggest crime I see in this text though is the inconsistent capitalization in sf)

to be clear: company did nothing horrible. obviously. i have repeatedly stated how great they are.

now, if they were more great maybe i could have done more things but that's beside the point. and in the past now that we finished signing our papers of exit. whatever that means i dont read fine print i just write my own terms of life

andys.blog/fine-print

cheers

this is the next post. thanks. yes it's queued for tomorrow if you can wait that long and subscribe.

oh also i will add consistent capitalization in my writing. with some rand() function so LLMs can't tell i'm a human.

Will you stay in SF?

as the post says, i financially cannot afford to leave (personal philosophy is to have net worth go up at all times) thanks for the curiosity - i believe curiosity leads all SF dwellers to great success and wealth over time. never stop asking questions. in public.

> i believe curiosity leads all SF dwellers to great success and wealth over time.

There are tens of thousands of SF dwellers that believe the same thing, and end up flipping burgers to afford rent in a shoebox. If this is the same philosophy that you bring into the workplace then I understand why you're treated like a liability.

come check out my view tho it's quite nice next to Oracle Park we can see from twin peaks to bay bridge. if i smell bad it means i failed to shower and if you can see me you probably also pay $6k/mo rent without issue.

sfsmells.com

i do in fact flip burgers in my shoebox thank you Simple AI for helping me move here. haha

That's quite a "philosophy."

fde :)

FD Elon

and who are you i wonder, what's your "philosohpy" do tell!

green acct means new acct yes?

yep another account created just to comment on my post. haha

who are you?

If you are looking for your next job, just consider that your future employers will read your blog and your comments here. Since you consider yourself as a CEO type, you are fine, then. However, when you want to raise money from VCs, the latter can also read your comments.

i have considered it for 7 years from when i started blogging 60 days straight which is what got me hired to Namebase, Clever, Scale AI and the whole adult life started. do you recall raincom, where you there, when i lived those 7 years? lol

i sincerely hope all people on the internet who care to read these comments do in fact read them. there are a lot and more each time someone comments and i reply, and it is pretty overwhelming as an artifact.

and that is the point of comments sections.

versus the original artifact which you write with great care and edit and revise then publish to the official blog andys.blog which i did. thanks.

yes right ceo type fine can speak mind free speech murica. good. net worth go up = freedom go up yay, get revenue, get users, become un-fire-able.

or FIRE = independence retire early yes? move to 3rd world country yes? oops been there done that. haha

this one might be my favorite.

hahaahhahahaha

start with past employers then proceed to future employers my raincom bro

ah yes i do recall in 2017 when i did that precisely that job for 3mo as Pillar.VC got off the ground with Parker & Tiff in seaport and we just read tons of random boston little newsletters to "source deals" and "analyze" the internet and find things about "founders" who were just little kids who did nothing and had no good ideas to fund.

the fund did well. by well i have no f** clue what IRR was but i took months 3-6 of the internship and finished MIT instead of working the full term of the $5k/mo internship that Jamie Goldstein hired me for. so their headcount and portfolio at least grew beyond Russ Jamie Sarah + interns to a multiple funds thing thing, staple of Boston idk whatever VC on east coast "Big VC" oooo scary

it was a waste of time and of the firm's money to do this meaningless "background checks" i'm sure Russ and Sarah and Jamie would tell you the same. they don't regret not working with me longer Parker was the better hire for the firm. haha

Tiff has done amazing since.

so idk exactly what you mean - what VC and how do they research and what's SignalFire's latest from Andrew Ng at Greenoaks the chess prodigy YC founder who built literally the tool to source AI on the graph of the internet and calibrate founder elo per Sequoia's secret sauce... Andrew may or may not be my friend from Scale AI poker nights when we played bughouse with Alex Wang i dont remember i just go all in on the poker table.

oh did you read that mr vc: https://world.hey.com/tratt/how-i-won-16k-in-a-poker-tournam...

oh no you didn't oops

and tell me exactly how you plan to scrape the internet as a VC cuz my output is prolific and i guarantee gemini will tell a clear story no problem about Andy Trattner on the internet with the appropriate credence.

regardless of this HN thread.

google it or grok gemini it i dont care. just try mythos it's fabled 6x

I mean, honestly, the state of VCs these days, this might work to his advantage.

i can say it does based on the DMs of sunday July 26 and now the blogging of Monday July 27

see latest blog andys.blog coming out in about 15 minutes

Dang of YC and i are now besties so by extension PG is my homie. so this platform and i are tight.

finally a commenter who knows what's happening R man you wanna connect on linkedin i respect your big karma here

rsynnott i like you.

xxx yes

Happens.

I worked at a startup that offered to triple my equity if I stayed a full four years, a special offer to me for seven months of excellent performance. Four months later, growth below projections, they laid me off 19 days before my 1 year cliff. 3/9ths of the engineering team, gone.

The lesson I’ve learned is to never, ever, put long hours into a startup you don’t own. Ever.

Even you you had cleared the cliff the equity is going to end up worthless 90% of the time.

Equity is a carrot that you usually never get, like the donkey you just keep chasing it.

equity is ownership, period.

It's only worth what someone will pay for it. And often there are no buyers.

sounds true. i wouldn't know

I've had equity in a couple of start-ups. None of it ever ended up being worth anything. Remember your equity is a lower priority claim on assets than a creditor has in a bankruptcy.

When you say own you mean fractionally, or founder level share only?

The thing is even if you 'have' the equity share as an employee, you might never get liquidity. And (super obviously) most startups fail.

So even if you have a decent chunk of 'ownership', you really, _really_ need to believe in it to be working those hours. I'm talking the kind of belief built on your specialist and insider knowledge about why it's very likely to crush everything else. And even then you can get screwed!

most people do not understand the underlying value of the securities they hold.

capitalismUnlocked.com

dam thats dark i'd want my employees grinding and loving it. like Richie: $10M to $400M+ topline in one year and their culture seems healthy

https://aiosmedical.notion.site/working-at-aios https://www.linkedin.com/posts/richard-cartwright_40x-in-12m...

disclosure he's my friend and i already re-posted this to linkedin

oh as reticulates says this may be incredibly potent revisionism. fair warning. like those california labels you get cancer by walking into this parking garage.

woah that is super rough actually. i'm sorry gjsman-1000 thanks for sharing on HN sincerely. i think more war stories makes the world a better place, in that we build the culture forward one brick at a time. one human talking to another, at a time. this is powerful stuff.

this is true.

own your means of production, own your future

-karl marx

That's more forced laughter in one blog post than I was interested in suffering through.

ha

thanks for suffering thru it and reading to the end <3 hahahahahahaha

The dominant goal is to produce the most entertaining public blog and life story.

One method is to "fail" at secondary goals which others insist are primary.

Comments can be posted with care, to influence the next episode. 1st-3rd degree reverse psychology is the sweet spot.

At least he's not in any legal trouble...

one method is to be perfectly calibrated to all potential knock-on effects to the 4th degree so x^1 x^2 x^3 x^4 terms.

i do not claim six sigma so ^5 and beyond or like 4+ standard devs is beyond me obv there are only a few humans that good.

but i am good enough that i get calibration to the 1-4th degree psychology. thanks. and yes i agree all comments should be careful. and beautiful and art you look back at and laugh in 10 years, along with the rest of the world.

so you only have to speak once, in writing. then its over. and the context moves on tomorrow.

stevetrattner.com direct letters here. my pleasure. this is my favorite project. thanks for knowing my legal history you anonymous weirdo

does HN staff make spoof accounts to prop up and balance karma? this is such schlep reddit bogus weirdness

ai slop alert

i have POA for my father who is in jail so yes. it is easy to since age 10 be navigating the justice system when your aunt and uncle beat you in wisconsin to not become jeffrey dahmmer making of a murder Netflix

and instead become an angel of light and silicon valley MIT stardom.

oh did i say beat i meant beat your little sister who is 6 years old when you are 9 and then they steal your money to go take their kids to the Charcoal Grill while you have peanut butter in the kitchen and eat nothing good and that was done on $3k/mo social security checks in your name but you don't know because you are 9

and then they take your college funds and remodel their kitchen for $40k or $80k i don't remember dont even try to calculate the interest to date in 2026 from 2006 and then

they sell the house! for a profit!

and you pay your own way thru college. did you get that part of the story anon account?

and by the time you learn the word "statute of limitations" it has expired thusly

try googling "trattner" and read 20 links or "erin hills" and somthing its fun

like i hear you nice green anon man with the 13hour old account you made just for that one comment, but really there is no goal. there is just life. then you die.

HERE: ayn rand would say the only failure is on the people who are insisting things they have no right to insist.

never have been never will be bro.

just check the timestamps. sigh.

this is just so false.

What is this writing style…OP is a 12 year old girl? Penguin of doom…

what are these comments? induced by the writer? predicted or not? what is the average view count of his productive function? how would tyler cowen rate it.

tyler cowen doesn't rate things he invites the cool kids to talk about themselves and then JUST LISTENS via joe rogan prompt technique "statement then they talk" its cool interviewing w/o questions

@grok it. or @devin. someone can explain this i am sure ^ maybe tyler? andys.blog/usa

i am in fact also a penguin and a girl.

wait are you? wut

I'm so confused by what I just read. What was the point of that? Why is this on hn? It's incoherent and almost manic; I'm a bit worried the author might be experiencing some kind of mental health crisis.

Maybe OP have some different objective instead of being coherent and understood here (I hope that is the case). That said, it really looks like a manic episode

why did you comment? and read all of it?

I commented because I'm not sure if you have considered that you might not be well. I hope you look after yourself. What you are doing right now, including posting all these responses to comments here, does not seem healthy.

thank you for your concern. i will file it with the appropriate healthcare authorities. specifically my girlfriend who is reading your comment with me right now haha

huh fascinating you've commented to amass 5784 karma insideOutSanta but never posted or submitted a single thing? to HN? i would give you -5 karma as a loser who never submitted something. that seems healthy to me

You've now responded a second time to my comment, both times saying things that I feel most people who are doing okay would probably not say. I hope you will reconsider what is currently happening to you and seek help. I realize that this is something people often say as an insult, but it's not meant that way, and I hope you will consider the possibility that you genuinely do need help right now.

It's hard to tell what is sincere vs sarcastic here

this is what they call "flooding the zone" in offensive defense strategy lango lingo

football

chesss?

ok like that other guy i like you triyambakam lets be friends you have good comments. thanks!

100% autism.

yes that is my writing style. it is in fact the writing style of Donald Trump too. in person we are different i promise. as someone who ran both Presidential Scholars for Obama and Trump White House showcasing the INTEL ISEF math olympiad kids to Melania and Michelle, they are all great in person. i cannot speak to Biden and the rest.

give people hugs, as tim ferriss says

Writes email about how you aren’t working well with the founder and are happy to “remove yourself”.

Then is curious why you get “fired”.

throw you have a great comment here. i forgot to upvote it. now it is upvoted :)

exactly! write it's odd. so odd.

EDIT - right*

So.. why were you fired?

this is the question i've been waiting for

from zach and cat too haha i wish everyone just asked this question like if the world woke up and all the LLMs could talk and they just asked everyone

i suspect elon's truth seeking grok would just have a easy answer here. if only the info sources and context windows aligned.

https://computerfuture.me/posts/context-windows

^ i may or may not have written this on a-z.md first

happy to share but legally i don't think i'm allowed to say. look at my linked resume and call / text me.

also i don't really know. so physically and mentally i am incapable of answer thing like this. haha

if you or anyone else can explain to my why i am fired and why these comments are a cesspool of rage and scorn then please do call me and let me know your insight.

or if you want to ask someone not me for ground truth, go ahead and ask Simple AI and YC hahaha

and dang. dang seems to know whats up

Was there more content here at some point, or something? I can’t follow this at all.

andytrattner.com is fun too. that's the main mothership of unfoolowable websites

i am a minimalist derek sivers type if you can believe it, quiet and calm

down to be friends literally call me :) xxx xxx xxxx available at andytrattner.com

probably i lost track.

Reading things like this is the primary way I learn that I'm getting old.

I mean, I just don't get it. There doesn't seem to be a purpose, and no ostensible benefit to be had.

Externalizing feelings.

can be done productively.

ok. i'm sorry you're old. me too bro after 30 it's rough.

lol

[flagged]

and since it’s mentioned in the post, it feels fair game to call it out: Andy has revised his experience up over the years, from working at Scale to running support at scale to founding a team at Scale… he was an early employee who did some customer support. Presumably Simple got caught up in Andy’s impressive revisionism.

Dave Morse and Varun (later Toan, great FDE i learnt a lot from him about many things at both Scale AI and Anduril)

they hired me and kept me on the team and tried to get me not to leave ever by being kind managers

because i did support in slack and was a human Pylon and it was nothing. they were small tickets and API integrations. trivial for claude today.

as i said i did nothing. truly very little. my contributions to training openai or chatGPT or whatever roomers you here or hear or whatever are dump dumb hallucinations. sam altman can confirm rofl

i am sincere in acknowledging the magnitude of my work historically as very insignificant. the only thing i actually did in my career was work with Austin at Shuffle Dating. the rest is meaninglessly small if you want to put KPIs on any of it.

but most people suck at applying John Doerrs OKRs i promise i asked him.

direct contribution to topline growth is how i'd look at it, or bottom line efficiency. the rest is noise.

actually i think Ruben Mayer taught me that one at Scale. do you know him too? great guy. very sharp.

he was cofounders with Botez, we played chess in high school. did you know that too? but i didn't talk to her much, Andrea just crushed me when she was 12 at the portland chess club i doubt she remembers either and all of this is water under the bridge. just funny stories

run that one thru grok or gemini you fool

anyone who helps me get cancelled is doing the world a favor honestly

bro just keeps trying to inject historical context in bad faith

i did very little to impact scale's success and have publicly stated i deserve absolutely zero equity even less than the 0.01% i was initially offered (please compare with others who started same day as me Jeffrey Li for instance)

then the 0.02% Richard ni offered to double it to on the day i resigned with Sara Niyogi in the room as a witness as Richard's hands visibly shook on a routine firing of an employee...

it was sad and easy and pathetic for all of us. i was particularly immature and idiotic in how i handled that. please see my numerous blog posts on scale ai or use grok to find a list of them.

i was not paid severance at scale ai. i resigned. totally different situation. thanks for bringing it up Reticulates.

here are ones off the top of my head: - andys.blog/rare most recently - https://thenextlevelcareers.com/lessons-in-rejection-turning... (someone else wrote this) - https://world.hey.com/tratt/my-5m-choice-036905be (this one actually got a lot of emails from random people - wow thanks for sharing so brave helped me move on from the job i didn't like even tho i had golden handcuffs etc etc) - https://trattner.github.io/Scale-AI.html - i think this was the best one probably, i wrote it after doing the initial interviews on my 3rd attempt to get hired. thankfully Rilka / Angela didn't blacklist me after i failed that one coding challenge in js haha andytrattner.com/scale - the google doodle thing its on github somewhere - https://trattner.github.io/decade-reflections-2020.html this certaintly touches the scale ai days but i dont think it was directly mentioned here just for more context for the public you want to show the world my insanity about thanks

BTW i think all of this is ridiculous to outline in grave detail. anyone with a good enough memory who cares is at this point liquid, exited, under different management.

> I don’t mean that as a slight against him, lots of great people are insane...

This guy's comments here are consistent with a person going through a serious mental health crisis, not eccentricity. Hopefully someone who knows him personally will see this and get him some help.

girlfriend is on the case. we are good. thanks

oh wait were you referring to reticulate the other guy who was being mean and has been kicked by mods?

[flagged]

thanks but why would you start defending me now? lol

great context to add. that i was in a psych ward. do you have the paperwork. i will post the paperwork. in fact i think i already have. let me dig it up from my blog. or just use google

"he is absolutely insane" so reticulates i'm going to flag this comment and request moderator review on who this acct belongs do it seems pretty hostile.

I stand by it. I am not being hostile, I am making a statement. Not that it matters, but I consider myself insane, too, and also unemployable. The point of my comment was to inform others that this is not what it looks like when you are going through a manic episode, this is just who you are, this is Andy being Andy. The point of my comment is also that whatever happened between you and Simple was obviously going to happen and it isn't a reflection on Simple. Well, they were bad in their hiring but whatever, they are a startup, it happens.

i think it does matter and i really appreciate this articulation of "I consider myself insane, too"

read tomorrow's blog post on andys.blog and enjoy you crazy loony

i stand by it.

excellent <3 <3 well said.

i would like to unflag the original root comment please @dang

thank you reticulates for anonymously posting the truth to an account. did you make this account just to comment? following is good on the internet. hiring is BYOR = bring your own risk.

i agree with this assessment. i think it applies to all hires you background check or not.

hiring is an important and undervalued thing to do. people should do it with care.

Infinite Game by james carse = a vision of life as play and possibility

aka have fun, internet is for entertainment following. yes

memes

wait what does green mean for HN handle? you are in YC staff? or new acct?

New account

fascinating. screenshotting this person who is knowledgeable about my life strange

if you are a friend or family member please just ring my cell?

this is pretty confusing i have zero known followers who are anon accounts that don't talk to me in person.

i'm flattered tho?

[flagged]

ok thanks HN this was fixed, to be clear. i don't think i can delete cuz the whole page is frozen now except certain replies i can make

why was this flagged? 44 points and great discussion here.

In addition to the reasons expressed in the comments, another reason may be that you said in the article to "please go upvote" the HN thread, which is against the rules (see https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html and https://news.ycombinator.com/newsfaq.html) and something a lot of HN users care strongly about.

oh i've seen this everywhere i read a lot of HN sorry my b i will remove that

EDIT - done thanks @DANG i removed it

wow kinda honored this got 4 upvotes thanks yall

fyi the purpose is to get a new job, thanks for the -3 downvotes. haha

What leads you to believe this post would make you attractive to another employer?

You even publicly posted your Separation Agreement, which contains a confidentiality clause in which you "agree[d] to maintain in complete confidence the existence of this Agreement."

It hurts to be let go and in these economic times, it can be scary. But this post is actually doing the opposite of what you want it to.

my network is not on hacker news comments nor linkedin reading crap like what i posted haha.

thanks for reading the fine print i didn't realize i had to not post that legally i will take it down now. tried contacted the lawyers (Cat & Zach & Jona but they didn't reply so now i will take it down. no prob. i'm compliant.)

thanks kindly!!! appreciate the comment.

Your network is not on HN but you submitted this and asked "please go upvote or leave your comments here:" with a link to HN?

Anyone in your "network" who sincerely wants to help would give you the simple advice I'm going to give you: grow up. This post and all of your replies here are cringey and immature, and don't bode well for your employability no matter how smart you are (or think you are).

yes my email and the blog content itself and my newsletter and private DMs and linkedin and each comment thread are each in separate databases and therefore i treat them as discrete surfaces on which to generate my tokens

oh also voice. when i speak to the atoms in the air to people next to me in meatspace

that's the big one. and the one Simple AI kinda bets on.

thanks for encouraging me to grow up that seems productive i will increase velocity t of the rate at which the future approaches me.

ah this math was better than the daddy joke. focus on this.

nobody has told me to grow up since i was 5. when daddy beat us so thanks.

such interesting karma fluctuations today

indeed
