And what’s stopping you from using parental controls to keep your kids off of Instagram? It’s comparable because you don’t let your kids do other things I’m sure just because other kids are doing it.

I already explained that part.

That you don’t want to be a responsible parent and you are worried about your kids being ostracized? You never did answer the rest. Do you also buy your kids the latest fashion, the newest iPhone and let them use drugs so they fit in?

Why don't you want to legalize lead paint? We don't need this kind of government overreach.

Because I can’t easily block every building that has lead paint.

Let me tell you a little story. Florida requires age verification for porn sites. Guess what? The internet is global. It might surprise you that since some of the biggest porn sites aren’t in the US, they just completely ignored the law.

However, parental controls still work.

Do you not have any control of what your children do?

Where is the parental control that lets me prevent my child from signing up for a social media account with a false age?

The parental control is not letting your kid go to the website or download the app on devices you buy them and you control. All consumer OS’s for both mobile and desktop computers already do that.

Are you suggesting that adults should have to upload their ID to websites?

And you still didn’t answer the point about what you do about sites not hosted in the US - like the porn sites that are ignoring age verification laws in Florida.
