I agree, but it's even more important with personal transportation people rely on than most other things that might include such cameras.

Sounds like your property won't be confiscated if you don't try to surveil everyone. Swings and roundabouts.

Having cameras on your house isn't an invitation for the police to come in and take the footage.

My understanding is they can get a warrant to seize footage from a camera on your house (but not I wouldn't call it an 'invitation).

Those cameras aren't on your house, they're being confiscated because they're surveiling the public on the street.
