The author behind this mod added several times the volume of the original game in custom assembly code.

A friend of mine did some pixel art armors and weapons by mixing up existing assets from various Diablo games.

The mod's soundtrack was classically composed by Raphael Reed, Ben Wallace and Kirill Polyanskiy.

There's a few 1-hour tracks like these on YouTube. It's basically lofi remixes of Diablo music. Suitable for work music.

I recall the bug/cheat to duplicate spell books. Those fireballs and lightning chains at max level could wipe everything in seconds.

Or gold. Or stat boosting potions!

Or Obsidian Rings of the Zodiac!

This game destroyed my right hand from all the continuous clicking. Each attack was a click in contrast to D2 where you could just hold it down.

I still have the lingering effects from it to this day.
