Is 120V used in datacentres in North America?

Since domestic plugs are mostly irrelevant, I'd assumed everything would use 240V (or whatever is the approximate value there).

Datacentres in Europe etc use ~240V to each server's PSU, using IEC C13 or C19 plugs. The rack PDU (big power strip) or UPS connects to 3 phase 415V providing three groups of single phase 240V sockets.


I can’t imagine any commercial data center here in the US using less than 240V


US data centers use 208V


Well, it definitely helps Schneider if organizations upgrade their datacenters.
