Hi, I'm always been trying to get into open source development. I believe it would be a good way to improve my technical skills and have some fun. However, I've always had issues getting started. For context, I'm a backend software engineer for about 4 years now. Whenever I look into OpenSource issues, I'm always intimiated by the breadth of what it seems to require to solve these issues. And the easier ones marked by "Good first issue" seem to be always taken by someone else farily quickly.

Does anyone know of any good resource on how to become a consistent contributer to projects that I frequently use?
