That means that a better language with the same ecosystem would be even better. And that's the point.



Better for whom? Better for computer science researchers perhaps, but certainly not better for working geologist or chemists trying to apply ML to solve practical real world problems in their respective domains.


Yeah research code tends to be pretty shitty code I believe

But what about industry ML code?


Especially researchers would profit from correct code.
