I got vaccinated and boosted once, and basically stopped being safe after that, because there was no longer a necessity to for my specific situation. I closely interacted with people I found out were covid positive for about an hour at a time and never got infected, even testing negative on a PCR. My girlfriend and I sat next to a family member for a family wedding rehearsal, and she caught it from him. I took her to the hospital for what we thought was strep (because that family member did not tell anyone they had covid until after the wedding because they took the conservative opinion that it wasn't an issue). After we found out it was covid I scheduled a PCR.
