I understand that this is still beta but it's a terrible experience getting in anyway.

1) Log in using Discord. OK, do not have that, I'll just create a throwaway (TA) account, right?

2) Wrong, Discord registration doesn't accept any TA email provider I tried. There's also the usual repeated captcha dance.

3) So I'll try to register a TA Gmail address to see how hard that is these days. Requires phone number. Max 6 accounts on a single phone number. Pass.

4) Dug out an old yahoo account, finished Discord registration.

5) ClassicUO shouts: "Unauthorized, your username is not on the whitelist."

6) Googled the message, got here. OK, I have to actually ask on the Discord chanel. Where do I open this Discord, surely it has a web interface.

7) Wrong. Only clients for major OSes in Electron. Are you kidding me, Electron but no web app?

8) Installed the client, joined the ClassicUO channel.

9) You have to wait 10 minutes before posting and post only 1 message per 6 hrs.

The 10 minutes just expired and I asked, so I guess I'll wait see how this useless odyssey ends.

Error when trying to login with Discord: "Bad request, invalid token: empty"

I can't login with discord?

Ah you need to go to the discord first and request access because it's still beta. They seem pretty quick to respond, I got access in about 5 minutes.
