Is it possible that Apple Mail is a huge proportion of opens because they’re one of the last to NOT block it? I thought Gmail and outlook already blocked images by default… 58% of desktop opens just seems extreme given proportion of Mac vs PC use.

Yeah, that stat is totally unbelievable. iPhone being 20x more mobile opens than Android is also pretty sus with about 50/50 US market share and Android dominating globally.
