I wonder if there is an opportunity for an open consortium of apps that could define guidelines and qualify apps that are built with positive impact on the user in mind.
We've recently been discussing how we can be proactive with our user's data, and tell them why we want to use their data, what data, and for how long we'll use it, etc. Because we're likely using the data in health and wellness research, it's not just "hey we want to show you better ads", so we believe there is real benefit to the user here.
