I did read them. And I don't remember any instance where Bezoses or Musks were actively sought out and disempowered.
On the contrary, they can develop stuff without having to ensure employees are happy and fed. That burden is taken care of by the AI. Plus, if their ideas are any good, AI will help further by offloading most of the corporate management. How can Musk and Bezos not like that?
How is that in bad faith? I grew up in eastern europe and we got loads of such absurd "social commentary" that painted all bourgeoisie as bloodthirsty enslaving monsters. It actually had the opposite effect, contributed to uncritical adoration of the West.
So if we are going to have useful social commentary, let's perhaps focus on the actual and well-known psychopatic streaks of the CEOs and how they fit into their environment, not make comics villains out of them.
