Personally, my MBP's keyboard failing and Apple Store saying it wasn't a known problem made me switch to Lenovo (after 5 years with Apple).

I bought a 5kg-laptop that I bought with HDD and 8GB RAM and I upgraded myself to 24GB RAM and SSD alongside the HDD. It has Philips screws.
