New Yorker here. No they won't. These policies end up with me having to fly to Hong Kong to oversee a Hong Kong team that deals with clients who got tired, over the past 15 years, with flying to the United States.

I haven't visited the US since 2000. Guess why? And indeed, there are plenty of other nice countries to visit.


AFAIK the OP means that this hurts US more than Chinese tourists as the Chinese money is spent somewhere else and not in US.
