Why not just use github issues and bitcoin for payment.
If you have problem write an issue on the project repo and offer an amount in bitcoin.

Because the amounts people would normally (be able to) offer can often be tiny. Also, estimating time to fix specific issues is hard, and this
still
doesn't solve the maintenance problem.
