I wonder why GitHub is so popular and TFS services are not. It's so much better than GitHub IMO, can someone explain?

Supports TFS and Git vestion-control

Free collaborative projects for up to 5 people

Can have closed-source projects

Bitbucket supports private repos aswell and works with mercury and Git afaik. The main reason GitHub is popular is because it is popular; it just happened.

I thought communism was all about human equality. Guess it's true that you are communist until you get rich, feminist until you get married etc..

It's worth noting that Hong Kong was under British control till 1997, and largely retains its independence from mainland China. It has its own constitution, and the existing capitalist system was left intact, as part of the transfer agreement between the UK and China.

Not that China isn't chock full of disparities between better and worse off people despite the putative ideals of the communist state, but Hong Kong isn't a good example of such.

Hong Kong is unique. Even if China was truly communist, HK has operated differently.

Because there is oil in Iran that can be harvested while engaging in war and "freeing" the people.

And nobody cares because there is no oil or other goods to harvest in North Korea.

If they had those resources, they would just have stronger ties with China. They have long had the ability to rain destruction down on Seoul, South Korea (a heavily populated city with strong ties in the West, and increasingly ties with China, AFAIK) in the event of aggression against them. None of the Middle East countries have such a situation (that I know of).

If someone cared, NK would be right.
