Around June or July 2023, Tuan, my partner, and I learned about the practice of Indie Hacking and the active community of Indie Hackers on X. They blew our mind. Ever since we got immersed into the community, we have learned so many lessons that could apply to our own startup. Here's my blog post sharing what I've learned.
If you're a business owner, startup founder, or sales director looking to boost your sales system with AI, this video is for you. I’ll show you exactly how to use 5 AI multi-agent workflows to empower your entire sales pipeline—from research, strategy development, to outreach planning, post-sales call analysis and performance evaluation.
You can try the 5 AI workflows mentioned in the video for free with the links in the video description.
I’m the founder of an AI company and also one of the only two developers in the team. As our company grows, a few weeks ago, I started thinking about hiring another senior software developer to help me expedite the process as I also do a lot of marketing and sales as well. However, as soon as I covered Cursor, I dodged the whole idea.
Cursor is just too good. It’s comparable to a junior software developer now but is at a small fraction of the cost. With Cursor Tab, Cursor Composer, and the ability to index the documentations of the frameworks/libraries used, I have been coding faster than ever and I like it better this way because it’s cheap, fast and there’s no need for me to onboard or train somebody else or waste time on people management.
I hope all the developers out there know how much Cursor has raised the standard of software developers.
They will need to keep being better otherwise they’ll be irrelevant very soon.
Same as ever by Morgan Housel, also the author of the Psychology of Money. This book is not directly related to startups, but I have read it, and it is full of timeless lessons that could apply to startups, like planning pessimistically yet dreaming optimistically, the compounding effect, and many more. I think it could set you in a good mindset for startups, especially in the early stage, though I think this book could resonate with anyone. It’s quite new, but it’s one of the best reads of mine this year.
How do you plan to differentiate it from Shots.so? I’ve been using it for months and it’s so good I couldn’t believe it’s 100% free. Not sure how another screenshot app will stand out let alone make money.
Shots is definitely a great tool, we use it too :)
Xnapper Studio is more of a web version of our existing screenshot tool so the purpose was to address the accessibility issue for non-mac and web users! Some of the features that we are currently adding to address user needs are
1. Cloud storage for the images (for link sharing)
2. Text annotation (multiple fonts, size, color, etc.)
3. Ability to save presets (which is a core feature within our macOS app)
