I use different things based on what it's for. Ground flax seeds for baking, aquafaba for souffles, tofu with black salt for scrambles, "Just Egg!" for egg wash when frying, and maple syrup for egg wash on breads. Of those, I mostly bake, so keeping the flax seeds around is much more convenient for me than regularly buying eggs anyway.

The ones I have (SF30/SN30) remember which mode they're in so I just press the start button and it connects to my Switch. Then if I change it to bluetooth, it's the same for my Steam link until I switch it back. Plus there's a sticker on the back that gives the combos to change modes (Y+Start=Switch, X+Start=Bluetooth, etc). Some models, like the Lite 2, do have that physical mode switch.

I love my Tannus tires. I spent a lot of time and money fixing flats from puncture vine (goatheads) on my road bike before getting them. I don't feel like it added much bad weight because they are so narrow, unlike my airless mountain bike tires. Well worth it.

This is perfect. I started the ball rolling on my own ISP last month and have gathered advice from another local ISP and online sources. So far I've gotten one quote of $950/month for resellable 100/100mbps fiber, I'm about to start drumming up local support, and I have some various ideas about how to connect everything together. What has been your biggest hang up so far? Have you worked out a viable business plan?

It takes weeks to actually get the fiber quotes. I only got that one quote last week after a month and still trying to get others. Now I need to spread the word more and gauge how much interest there is before I can really commit to it. So far, it seems promising.

What finally got me started up on it was seeing how fast and cheap some of the wireless equipment had gotten, specifically Ubiquiti's wireless mesh equipment. Still need a lot of research on how to engineer a solution to my situation.

Not really. I tried send someone a large sum recently and my options were 3rd party payment sites (Paypal, Google Wallet etc), cash, or check. Direct transfers (ACH) do exist, but it's difficult to set up and so is usually between accounts owned by one person (bank<->bank, bank<->Paypal). Plus it takes 3-5 business days. I ended handing over a cashier's check.
