Short-lived. Down to flat now.

It appears up to 46 times.

"Anthropic is projecting 2028 revenue of roughly $190 billion to $200 billion"

A few months ago, people were decrying their May $47B MRR number as being gamed (up from $9B at end of 2025). That may be true but we're still seeing huge MoM gains and projections that they'll be held accountable to when then they go public.

It's not that rare for games to offer a "remove ads" option for a few bucks. That model doesn't require a lot of extra "maintenance".

I think a few bucks for ad-free brings in more money for most developers, but that still pales in comparison to a recurring subscription model (or models where people keep spending in-app on consumables).

The author had fixed the bug. Had he cloned the repo, that bug would have not existed in the ripoff version, which points to the simplest explanation being that it was Claude, as the ripoff author said.

Depends when it was cloned, as the article does say the author later fixed the bug, so we are unsure when it was fixed.

Unfortunately, I’ve seen MA ads for kids games on iPhone as well. Possibly not as bad but not great. It seems to be better than it was two years ago.

I’d prefer a timer, but when it runs out of time, you just don’t get credit for the word.

You click next and it goes to the next word.

I don’t want hints but I can see how others might want that. But you still don’t get credit for hints. Or it shows “x hints used”

Final score can show that you got the first N words in <30s (as it is now), and you can have other stats:

* Total number of consecutive words (even if over time)

* Total number of words

* total words <30 seconds

* Plus whatever hint based metrics you want

I'd prefer a mode where you fail the word, but can continue to the next word.

Perhaps it is intentionally part of the design, but being a bit of a perfectionist, I failed a couple of times, and found that actually the longer words were (often) easier than the shorter ones...

2017-2019… it sounds like maybe he did quit.
