So that’s an excuse?

One sided relationships are not that beneficial

Yes, but unelected bureaucrats only impose fines on the private sector.

what would be the point of the government fining itself though?

Now that I'm thinking of it, it would create the need for an extra gaggle of bureaucrats to oversee the process,so I suppose someone might see a point to it ...

You may think you're funny or something, but boy do I have news for you.

There absolutely are fines for French administrations. And, knowing the French tax system, they've probably found a way to levy VAT and some other taxes on top of those fines.

Do you mean fines for tiny companies?

Can some of the roles be done by fewer individuals? Do you really think there's 0 waste in ever growing schools administrative staff?

Paid for from oil and gas revenues

And schools get funding from lotteries and casinos, and healthcare gets funding from alcohol and cigarette sales.

A good thing funded by taxes on a bad thing is pretty common in America.

Good!

Or would you prefer the oil and gas revenues goes into the pockets of your local oligarch?

and what happens when people don't want a new deal? Violence is ok then?

Thats what the Pinkertons were for, yes.

It’s getting downvoted, but I agree it’ll become a bureaucratic mess.

None of the people you’ve known is not reflective of what may actually be occurring

But you've not cited any sources either, so don't pretend that you're some paragon of statistical analysis. You've just said things like "I wish I didn't grow up in an area where I know that to be true," which is pure anecdote. Others in this comments thread have provided sources. Why haven't you?

This opinion is coming to you directly from the burned out debris formerly known as Seattle, so I think I’m pretty good at identifying imaginary disaster zones.

Adding battery storage is very costly, and batteries degrade with each cycle.
