Our automatic lending platform allows customers to apply for and receive their loan in under 10 minutes (instead of the industry norm of 2+ days). We've built an instant decisioning engine which we can plug into partners through an API. Credit and fraud scoring powered by machine learning.
We are looking for:
- Software engineers experienced in PHP with CQRS and Event Sourcing to kick start a new green field project. We are building this new product from scratch in a DDD approach. Tech Stack: Mostly Symfony with some services in python, node
- Software engineers experienced in PHP and Symfony to work on the existing loans platform. We'll gladly support you learning some more specific stuff that we use: Amazon SQS, Aurora, Docker, React.JS, Ansible.
- Devops engineers to shape our environments using Terraform and Ansible who are comfortable to manage deployment pipelines into a Kubernetes environment while helping developers grow. You will love this if you are open to new ideas and happy to build them - less likely if you’re looking for guidance. We use AWS but eyeing up to GCloud and Azure. Development stack is PHP, Python, Node, FPM, nginx, Aurora, redis, elasticsearch.

We are looking to add tech talent to help us build out our platform and contribute to a new, ground-breaking consumer finance product we are rolling out this year.
A key contributor to our growth is our Data Science team. To facilitate further expansion and impact the data science team are seeking a Python developer who will take responsibility for bringing internal Data Science products into production. This is a greenfield role where the successful candidate will sit at the intersection of engineering and data science. The role offers autonomy on implementing professional structure to existing data science services.
The role would by its nature result in exposure to the data science project lifecycle where learning new technologies and skills will be supported and encouraged.

We are profitable - our business model is scalable. To support our ongoing expansion we are looking to grow our Dev team by staffing:
1. Senior Frontend Engineer - JS developers experienced in the React ecosystem to help improve the isomorphic front-end of our platform, and to get started on a new mobile app development from the ground using React Native. You will kick-start a new green field project and help build a new product from scratch.
2. Senior Software Engineer - devs confident in their Symfony and PHP 7 skills to work on our main platform. In addition to our main backend project, we have several smaller projects driven by their APIs. They are a mix of Scikit-learn, Flask, Symfony, Silex, Angular2 and NodeJS apps.
We have a strong data science team who work mainly in Python building neural networks and other machine learning models to do everything from credit scoring to fraud detection. There’s always the opportunity to pick up some interesting new ideas from them.
