I wish more people your age would teach themselves something like this in the summer. I remember tearing down and rebuilding computers and teaching myself Linux in the summers when I was your age. I wouldn't have picked up those skills in school otherwise.

Keep up the good work, passion and initiative like this will take you far.

Thank you so much for your support!

Yeah, I don't have too much time or resources for learning CS, and gotta scrap as much I can during the summer breaks :)

Windows Phone users, I am interested in hearing your feedback. Thanks to the HN users who helped with beta testing!

It is almost identical to 'Combinator', another WP HN app. No login, posting or replying functionality... which is why I'm writing this from my android phone! I do appreciate the cleaner typography and the links in comment actually work (combinator doesn't fix links). It's good, but not as complete as what is available on Android.

Taking a bold dive into the depths of despair that is HN's Microsoft-friendly sub-community. Kudos, good sir, I applaud you!

I just got done hacking the non-touch Kindle 4 (the $69 one on Amazon) as a dashboard-type display and it was pretty easy to do. I have a post on my blog with how to do it if you end up going this route.

Cool. Good information, thank you. I'd be really interested in any follow ups you have about the dashboard display application you wrote.

Thanks again, I appreciate it.

Nice job! Are there plans to support mobile browsers? Works great on iPad, but not iPhone at the moment.
