Not true, if you install play services you can run 99.9% of apps, i can even run all the italian apps from yhe goverment. You are still using google but its running as user service and you can even revoke most of the permissions including location.

As someone that swapped from fairphone 5 to a pixel9a with graphene.

I have to side with graphene. Fairphone is a cool concept, but its a expensive phone, early on i had problem with the speakers and mic. Security updates are extremely slow, support is extremely slow.

Their missions is to make a fair phone, but is it fair if you are then forced to buy more ewaste because your phone breaks? Look at pixel software support, its really good, and eu made batteries replacement mandatory.

I do think there is absolutely no way a learner should be using ai for code generation. I think code analysis is the only acceptable usecase.

It would be one more layer of bureaucracy, I can tell this as an Italian, if you have a serious emergency you are better off paying out of pocket for a private clinic.

And this is for every aspect of society, I feel like all this burocracy is just made for people that liv e off the state, I get home at 6pm, offices are not even open, I have to take half a day off work to stand in a line every time...

I think it's just human nature, people that are ruthless with buisness are more likely to stay afloat compared to the moral alternative that always on the edge of collapsing

The problem with ai is that it's extremely good at front loading everything. Sure it can make a scene, but can it make 20 scenes that are coherent? Can it follow human prompt for story? Or do you prompt and hope the result is like you wanted? Which leads to inevitably settling for something you did not.

That’s true today: none of those requirements can be fulfilled.

Art direction and coherence might not be that far away as those are highly desired features, but it certainly looks like that now.
