Apple is second to none in supporting legacy products.

Kpler acquired them and it's not consumer friendly anymore. They are focused on enterprise accounts only now.

That’s what a bot would say to fit in.

One factor is that people are obsessed with removing any friction in their life that stands in the way of whatever they believe makes them happy at the end of the day. Which for a lot of the US is just being alone and unbothered with a TV or a phone.

Having responsibilities and caring for others is actually good for the human soul. Being inconvenienced is a part of real life.

I’m not trying to convince everyone that they need to have a kid. But from my experience, having kids provides a very deep and satisfying purpose. Not the only purpose. But it does provide one. And it helps cut through the craziness and hurt and vanity of this world.

Yes, and I'm tired of pretending otherwise.

Hill climbing algorithms. We were warned about those in undergrad classes. Others were not.

You’ll also great some of the greatest feedback from them too.

Would you be open to sharing more? I’m a Christian, and I’d love to hear from your perspective.

I’m a Christian as well and spent a day in Oxford earlier this year. After spending some time at Magdalen College, I bought every book I could by C.S. Lewis and just finished Letters to Malcolm (on prayer) today.

His refreshingly honest take is very relatable, humorous and encouraging.

I can highly recommend it if you’re interested in prayer life (and how to use powerful formulations in letters)

Merry Christmas! I’ll be installing NextDNS profile on both my parents iPhones!

I was gonna say to install ublock origin on an Iphone but it turns out its not that simple

Now I searched and it seems that https://orionbrowser.com/ is available on iphones and you can install firefox extensions on it and thus ublock origin :)

Have an ad-free year :)

(Ps: I don't own an iphone and for every device, my setup is Ublock Origin + firefox/zen on android/linux/mac etc but Iphone forces its own engine so you cant install addons in firefox on Iphone but you can if you use orion which is created by kagi)

Edit: Oops haha forgot to say the most important thing at this time of year

merry christmas!

Edit2: Looks like orion supports ad blocking by default and in my experience it feels as good as ublock origin (I tested it on my mac on this website https://adblock-tester.com/ and got 100/100 on both zen + ubo and orion ootb

I am loving orion honestly too. I was writing this comment and then I was installing orion and suddenly the whole screen turned into a mini video/documentary about space for 1 minute for orion and man I really loved it.

I also get 200 free searches of kagi which is awesome, I have heard a lot about kagi so we will see but credit where's its due, the video was really good and its ootb ad blocking feels pretty good.

TLDR: try out orion browser :) (But I think you can try out brave too but honestly ubo is better / comparable than brave so you can try out both, I don't think orion's source code is available but yeah, it does have a premium feel to it.

Once again merry christmas! Hope it helps

Kagi is great, but where it really shines is customization.

You can up/down rank or pin/remove entire sites

They have AI search, but I believe it’s opt in, you can also manually enable for a single search with a ? At the end.

I use Wipr for Safari- works great.

Reddit marketing to relevant subreddits might help!

That's a good idea, thanks. I always wanted to help folks unite to defeat corrupt boards so maybe r/fuc*HOAs would be a good subreddit to advertise for that.

why couldn't Anthropic simply use Claude Code to write Bun over the weekend??

It is open source (MIT license), Claude should have a pretty good start on it already.
