In Israel there’s actually a law to protect consumers from such cases.

It requires food manufacturers to add a notice on the package if they decreased the amount of content inside without making major changes to the look of the packaging.

A hand is a really bad to measure things, it's good no other arbitrarily sized body parts are used for exact measurements in the US.

Maybe they should start by selling one?
