I'll just add that every single time it appears, I'm reminded Google actively wants to take and own every single part of my life. Instead of a handy convenience thing like they intend, I just hate the brand more and more. `googleHate++` every time I see it.
I reread "Kim" by Rudyard Kipling whenever I feel I'm in a rut. It's pleasantly soporific during reading, but kicks me back out of the rut at the end. No idea why.
Zite. Nothing has come close ever since for dropping random articles in front of me that were perfectly relevant. Flipboard was no good and nothing ever worked. The amount of times I tweeted an article and somebody asked me "how did you even find that?" was a clear indication it worked well.
