Is there any way for a company, Lego in this case, to adopt a fan mod or remake, to make it legitimate IP/copyright wise?

Absolutely. They just have to license it, and that license can be for a nominal (think $1) cost.

That said, Lego doesn't own the game, so if it came down to it, they could strip all the references to "Lego" from it and probably be fine.

"Tortoise? What's that?"

The danish government has been doing that for a while, with open data available per region: https://en.ssi.dk/surveillance-and-preparedness/surveillance...

They also lead the EU wide project to track infections across the largest cities across europe: https://en.ssi.dk/surveillance-and-preparedness/internationa...

this is kind of a thing in the States, the program is called Nwss. https://www.cdc.gov/nwss/index.html

..and some lucky bastard managed to dig up some cholera bacteria from the sewers in Avedøre: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39085652/

Last time i wanted to load a game, i did it from mp3 files on my phone, with a usb-c to minijack and a minijack to magnetic tape interface adapter. worked flawlessly.

That's pretty cool.

I for one, will be setting off fireworks on Tuesday, even though its against the law!

Scott Manley mentioned it in his latest video, though with no source.

You can not trespass my eyes...

Not the same interview, but a talk also covering his time at Los Alamos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTRVlUT665U

While Feynman is famous for his computational work at Project Y, perhaps his most important contribution was the Bethe-Feynman equation for the efficiency of a nuclear weapon.

Sheera Frenkel @sheeraf Was just on phone with someone who works for FB who described employees unable to enter buildings this morning to begin to evaluate extent of outage because their badges weren’t working to access doors.

"Something went wrong. Try reloading."

its not loading for me. could you say what it said?
