Yeah, initially I was going to go with "Airport Exchange" but that domain was taken - this one was available and fairly straightforward without being too long. Thanks for the input!
Sorry, I disagree. This is an example of the corruption inside the American legal system. The cops are at the level of us regulars, and their judgement and actions seem to have no supervision or accountability.
how does the cron jobs work? Like if you add a PWA on the phone and set cron job tasks, how does it know to execute if the PWA is not open at the time?
Thanks! Currently the scheduler runs on the main thread. It checks every 60s and fires due tasks while the app is open. So it works well for recurring prompts during active use, but won't fire if the PWA is closed since browsers don't support persistent background timers. Periodic Background Sync is the closest web API but it's Chrome-only with no timing guarantees, so for now pinning the tab is the reliable path.
it is not a setback, they have to play a little game now and again to entertain the masses. scotus as it was before doesn’t exist anymore and won’t for decades, it now just rubberstamps
I quoted the media. The main point in this context is the "rare" part. I'm well aware of the nature of the GOP operatives on the SCOTUS. Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch all voted in Trump's favor. That Beerhead, Ms. IDreamOfGilead, and "Citizens United/I hate the VRA/worst chief justice since Taney" voted to temporarily uphold the stay actually surprised me (Bart O' said he would have given Trump more leeway) but yes, it's theater.
they have literally no power over things outside their own land borders and people are right to tell them to piss off.
