As a user, why would I trust an AI agent that cannot consistently use non-AI-tailored websites? If it cannot even do that, who knows what other failure modes it may hit me with.

If we had a functioning Federal Government, we need this like yesterday. I know the EU and the China Mainland are showing ridiculous incompetence today but they won't be incompetent forever. Digital Euro and Digital RMB are coming, perhaps as soon as within a decade. We are essentially playing catch up with the US Dollar at this point. Fed Now is a good start but it really is not enough.

lol you’re being very dramatic, it could absolutely be done in a garage. Legacy orgs are held together with billions of dollars worth of last minute fixes and duct tape in the US
since I've founded banks over here in Europe, I can tell you: NO! Thats nothing that you could do in a garage :)
Even a PSP requires some "minium/fixed setup" on different layers in the org, so building this with two people over your spring break will not be possible.
