I’ve been mapping real AI use cases that companies are implementing, and the reported results, industries, functions, and implementation patterns.

The goal is to help people see what is actually working in the market instead of starting from generic AI ideas.

Is this useful? Would you use something like this when deciding which AI initiatives to explore?

I think by limiting the usage other countries will start looking for alternatives, since you wont have access to the best models or you can be without any model in case the gov decides.

it'll basically do what china is already doing: produce more open models which undermine the entire value chain of america's AI stupidity.

Isn't it the same idea as satellites? They're used and work pretty well.

I think there is a bit of positioning too. I think Claude positioned as enterprise while chatgpt as consumer. Enterprise costumers pay, consumers maybe, there is more churn, personal taste etc it is way more complicated to win in the consumer space.

... and all look very similar, even same colors!

The thing with news is how fresh it is and with AI you can make it very personal. So I would add a layer of personalization and maybe reference picks by people that are similar to the user

love this idea. it will rely on having a larger user base to draw from, so I'll put this one on the back burner

This is very cool. Sao Paulo has an amazing talent pool
