why do you think so? they provide some evidence of this in the article, but there have been several improvements in e.g. nanogpt-speedrun or openai parameter golf made by AIs
My issue with Cloudflare is how they enshittify all the open-source & closed-soure utilities they maintain. They vibe code it all now. It's crap. I'm sad Vite/Vue/whatever will go the way of that. Oh well, there's always Svelte. For now.
Of course this is possible, but to use a botnet for intelligence compute is going to be slow. That's one thing we have going for us—it's going to take a long time for this bug to fumble through your network. But rest assured, eventually, it will pwn you.
Well if Hollywood would pick it up it would probably not resemble actual reality much, just bunch of drama, blah, patriotic pathos to please less intelligent half of population etc. Mostly unviewable movies for non-US audience.
If a software relies on a third party intelligence utility to self-extend, then is it truly self-extensible? I’ll agree that it’s here once we start packaging locally-hosted models and harnesses into our extension-API-enabled desktop software and users are happy with the experience.
The great benefit is, initially, to know that you're not alone. And indeed, the OP is very much not alone. The suffering is much greater when you think it's just you going through it; when you connect with others in the same boat, real solutions present themselves be they political or technical and together you have the strength to face it.
