What rights did you gain under the Obama administration that you would lose under a Romney administration? How would Romney discriminate against you in a way that Obama would not?

DADT? Soon to include DOMA? Federal benefits for domestic partners. That's only on gay rights.

How clueless are people about social issues exactly?

I support Gary Johnson. I believe he will help restore civil liberties that have been stripped via the Bush and Obama administration, campaign for drug law reform, and campaign for a FairTax implementation. He will stop the wars, cut federal spending, and hopefully 'do no evil'.

Three, Phins fan here too.

This is a fantastic idea. I wish I could go back in time when I was graduating high school and enroll in something like this. Would have saved me tens of thousands, and increased my earnings over lifetime by quite a large amount. Congrats.

Completely agree! It's just a shame that only a handful of companies offer such a program. I'd gladly give my tuition money to programs like these.

"Romney is simply the better bet for a free Internet."

Didn't Romney say something to the effect of 'Porn should be banned on the internet'?

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)[1]: Signed into law by President Clinton on October 28, 1998. I don't care what your politics are but the Democratic party is not the party that wants to stop the Republicans[2] from shutting down the Internet as we know it. Most people on HN probably think they do, however.

[2] This presupposes that the Republican Party want to shut down freedom on the Internet.

For all the blather that gets thrown around about the DMCA, the safe harbor provision is what basically allows a large number of the biggest sites on the internet to operate. Do you think we would have a YouTube without it?

Who knew the DMCA banned porn? Not me, that's for sure!

If the porn is copyrighted then the DMCA will allow the content owners to send a DMCA notice for each copyright infringement. That's the law and now you know it.

I'm trying to share my folder with some classmates so we have some collaboration without having to share our own server passwords. However, when I try to share the drapache folder I'm not allowed to share since it's in the Apps folder. I can't share the Apps folder either. Trying to move the drapache folder elsewhere has broken my drapache site. How can I share with classmates, and fix the broken site?
