Liquid Glass has been refined significantly in the 27 OS's and you have more control over the degree of transparency. Overall stability and performance are better as well.

> Liquid Glass has been refined significantly

I’ll take significantly removed.

What’s there to refine - Liquid Glass is the single most pointless, wasteful, accessibility destroying ‘feature’ I have ever seen

Shipping times have been increasing over the last several months.

All too often those have bad environmental impacts of their own. Coconut oil ends up being grown in plantains that require clear cutting natural forests. The agricultural process to plant, grow and harvest sunflowers produces significant CO2 just as it does for growing corn for ethanol.

I don't think anyone grows extra coconuts for fuel. It's processed from the waste after the more profitable parts are extracted.

I'm a little surprised at how little difference there is.

Yes, some of the colors shift due to the false-color addition of the UV channel but there were no new patterns or highlighted areas.

Check the budgie.

>The common parakeet or budgie has some interesting UV features. There is a small UV reflective patch on the chin, which appears dark violet to humans. Also, unlike most yellow birds, the yellow feathers on the head of the parakeet strongly absorb ultraviolet light.

There are probably larger gains in some areas like testing and coding. other areas, less so as they depend on messy data. I can tell you that only some areas of project management benefit from AI. the rest is more of a people problem.

we would ask recommendations and discuss experiences of watching various movies with strangers or with people we regularly saw at the video store

The 27 betas? No, they are generally faster than 26.

Do you have any reference for that? I have a hard time seeing how that would be true once the components were coalesced but maybe before that.

Apple AirPods and Google buds both can do automatic translation. It's still a little too slow and is a little clumsy to use but it's getting better fast.

Both are in the same order of magnitude.
