Hey, my email is david-at-wordstash.com

Here is a clickable link for the site: http://wordstash.com/

This could help for a color gradient http://www.colorzilla.com/gradient-editor/

The site could do with a little UI improvement. Background-vs.-body contrast is rather harsh on the eyes.

Yea, I can see how that could be a problem. Do you think I should just have a solid color background? Do you think the clouds are too busy?

Yeah, I think a solid color or a soft-going gradient layout that contrasts well with the colors of the site's body would work well.

This is actually taken a bit out of context in you watch the full interview. This response was to the question of what experiences from Digg are you taking with you to your next startup and what are you going to do differently.

How is this different than http://www.instapaper.com/?

Instapaper does not provide offline functionality except through their iphone app.

ReadMeLater allows any device with a browser that supports HTML5 to provide offline functionality.

Ok, thanks a lot. In my example(www.newsite.com and my LLC is CoolCorp), what would be the correct wording? Something like: "NewSite © 2010 is an affiliate of CoolCorp LLC."?

The usual statutory copyright notice is "Copyright © [year of first publication] [Owner's name]"

In your hypothetical example -- assuming CoolCorp LLC was indeed the copyright owner -- a statutory copyright notice would be "Copyright © 2010 CoolCorp LLC"; there'd be no need to include the URL or name of the site.

I _have_ seen notices that say something like, "NewSite Copyright © 2010 CoolCorp LLC"; I'm not aware that adding the NewSite name like that would cause any problems.

Same disclaimers apply - I'm not your lawyer, etc.

You could get two other friends and be rock, paper, scissors. Then go around battling each other with character driven dialog. For example, if you're rock and you fight paper and lose, you would scream, "Why does this keep happening?! What does he have that I don't have?!?!"

Using cubase, a midi keyboard and VST's. It's mainly down-tempo with electronic and hip hop.

Regardless of thinking speed, the more you know, the better you think. You are able to analyze a given situation or problem more effectively because you can draw on past experience or knowledge and make a more informed decision. I would happily take an 'experienced' brain over a young on that is faster (if thats even true, which i dont really believe...).

Pretty cool. I'm curious, did you use the Flickr API to process the flickr url and get the thumbnail? or did you scrape it?

I just exploded the link using "/", grabbed the ID of the photo and I used the flickr api to make sure that it's a valid photo_id.
