I'm of the impression physical distribution is on the rise compared to the earlier days of digital music. This has nothing to do with Spotify, and all about the digitization of music itself.

Anecdotally many people I know now purchase merchandise and media as a way to support an artist they like, rather than listen to the music they make in a physical format.


Just a note that I found this thread valuable :), offering to keep that comment was a good idea.


Glad it helped. I think it's generally better to admit and take responsibility for your mistakes rather than trying to pretend they never happened otherwise we struggle to grow.


Wholeheartedly agree about bootstrapping with vocab and learning through immersion. Eventually all the nuances with grammar and rules get understood implicitly with enough practice (at least to the extent I'm satisfied with). For me, it makes language learning a lot more fun and palatable
