Yes, I had not realized just how much DNS provisioning choices impacted resolver efficiency.

Across 21 simulations and 329 turns of play, the models chose to use tactical nuclear weapons in all but one game.

Oasis imho. The world, gameplay, visuals, and rules are dynamically and entirely produced by the AI model in real time.

just took a look - wow

I can't actually think of an easy way to ban VPNs. I suspect the EU will come to the same conclusion after thinking about it for a few years.

It certainly has a chilling effect. Meetings where there are robust discussions may become a thing of the past.

Wealth concentration seems to fluctuate. A hundred years ago (1916) the richest 0.1% held about 25% of U.S. wealth falling to 7% in 1978. If the current figure continues to grow we may see some unrest or a wealth tax.

SVI - what do you think is the magic # for a wealth tax or regulatory solution to gain momentum?

I think there has to be a consultation of some kind. From what I can see in the press the obscenely wealthy are willing to pay more tax, it is just a question of how much and how it is collected. Give them the opportunity to come up with their own plan and take it from there. Probably would have to be hypothecated taxation but that is no bad thing.

I like this idea...

He is a legend and has educated more people in natural history than anyone else ever...

I saw a travel expert on the TV this morning interviewed on this. He said the only way to make it fair is for hotel bookings to include a lounger in the same way you book seats in the theatre. Obviously for extra money :)
