Wow, it’s really interesting to see the sudden unchanged nautil.us made around the 4th of March!

The Test URL is a 404 for me though - if that's what the data is based on, it might not be completely fair...

It’s going to be a real struggle with 8 GB of RAM. I have the M1 mini with 8 GB of RAM and even the simplest smallest app in X code is an absolute slog. I ended up having to manually disable some of the Apple Intelligence services to get the ram back just to get the canvas renderer working in Xcode. Literally some of the xcode services just failed in tutorial apps due to RAM shortages. Really bafflingly inefficient compared to Windows IDEs

Why last year?

Windows recall, intrusive addition of AI features (is there even a pinky promise that they're not training on user data?), more builtin ads, and less user control (most notably the removal of using the OS without an account - something that makes sense in the context of undisclosed theft of private information).

This was 2025. I'm excited for what 2026 will bring. Things are moving fast indeed.

Curious how you do the sync - do you just git include and occasionally pull from upstream, or another mechanism?

It's coming for PCs soon: https://www.theregister.com/2025/01/20/microsoft_unveils_win...

And to a certain extent for the Microsoft cloud experience as well: https://www.theverge.com/2024/10/8/24265312/microsoft-onedri...

Microsoft still offers one-time purchase for Office by the way - Office 2024 was recently released.

Unfortunately they still seem to be flooded with trackers, even if you’re a paying customer. Here’s what my firewall blocks when i browse the verge for a few seconds with my browser’s ad blocker disabled: https://ibb.co/0JpKkCJ

There is no “no ad” tier. It’s full ads and reduced ads only

Non-paywall alternative: GitHub Copilot will support models from Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI - https://www.theverge.com/2024/10/29/24282544/github-copilot-...

I think ndheebebe was trying to support you and provide some information and encouragement to other readers and commenters.

This is a bizarre overreaction that does you no favours.

I'm sorry. I will never get married with this demeanour.
